One can never have too many books. NEVER!
My husband and I love visiting bookstores on our date days. We always find time to browse new titles and we never scrimp when it comes to purchasing good books (or food). hehe. I think feeding ones mind is sexy. :)
And here are some quotes from my recent book purchases:
"This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don’t get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can’t do anything, don’t get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it’s ready to come undone. You have to figure it’s going to be a long process and that you’ll work on things slowly, one at a time."
-Norwegian Wood, Haruki Murakami
“You can't be happy unless you're unhappy sometimes.”
-Delirium, Lauren Oliver
“You don't remember what happened. What you remember becomes what happened.”
-The Abundance of Katherines, John Green
“Listen, sometimes when you finally find out, you realize that you were much better off not knowing.”
-Her Fearful Symmetry, Audrey Niffenegger
When I rarely have time to go out and shop, Kindle is my best option when buying new titles. It's hassle free and readers provide feed back/review for each and every book. The only downside is that it can be pricier than regular paperback books.
Know any good books? I'd love to know. :)
